Jazz4Justice®

Established in 2001 by Fairfax, Virginia attorney Edward L. Weiner, Esq., Jazz4Justice® is an award winning annual fundraiser presented in a collaborative effort by the Fairfax Law Foundation and George Mason University Jazz Ensemble. Jazz4Justice® features top jazz musicians and ensembles from GMU and the community. The next concert is scheduled for Saturday, November 11, 2017.

Proceeds from the evening help the Fairfax Law Foundation sustain a Pro Bono Program that provides legal services for impoverished Fairfax County residents and law related education programs for local students, including court tours for 8th graders and children's mock trials, and also provides financial support for the George Mason Jazz Studies department for school trips, recordings and student scholarships. We are pleased to be able to showcase some very talented local artists and to support the Foundation’s critical educational and charitable programs all in one very festive evening.  Watch the Jazz4Justice® video or this clip from Voice of America to learn more on how this program benefits the community.
