Presented by the Northern Virginia Pro Bono Law Center

This overview of the most common problem areas of consumer law will be a tremendous help to the practitioner including strategy, substance and practical tips on debtor's and creditor's rights and other consumer protections. It will also include legal insights by a Fairfax County District Court Judge. We will be hosting a panel of experts on creditor's issues including homeowner association debt, medical debt, original creditor debt collections, collections by third parties and more.  The knowledge and skills acquired will not only prove valuable to the lawyer in practice, but will prepare the attorney to assist low-income clients with pressing financial issues to assert their legal rights.

FREE in exchange for 3 pro bono intake sessions and corresponding cases in conjunction with Legal Services of Northern Virginia.
